WD320_W7(Default boot as set in EasyBCD - Windows 7 x32) WD320_XP (System, Active, Primary partition - Windows XP SP3) The system is a triple boot arrangement SATA 2 Western Digital with 2 drives, using Acronis True Image Home 2011_Build 6942: I do not want to use any replacement as of now. Used the default settings and archives through the linux CD and the F11 function saved my ass a couple of times I was in a fix expecially when I had to add a new drive.ĪTI has been a staple for me since 2009. Prior to this system rebuild I never have a problem with ATI Home. Please help me out here as I am dumbfounded and shocked and do not know what to do. It is through my very good experience using Acronis that my friends got their own too. I am also not sure that installing the 2012 version will cure it and of course I would like to understand the issue first so when I encounter it again or a friend asks me I'll know what to do.

I am tempted to install but I would like to iron out this issue first. Recovering from a system image via the Linux CD is abd has always been vital for me. I need to install my work programs still (Acad 2009 / Adobe CS4 / Minitab 14 etc). Now I am jittery sice this is a new rebuild and is not yet as secure and reliable to work with. How can I use that or any drive I have "if" ATI does not read any drive I have in the system. Now this is an issue for me because the Seagate portable is for recovering image backups using the Linux CD. Now disregarding that I booted again using F11 and checked it said again, Usually for a triple boot I will have a total of 27.6gb an image size.

But when I checked the archive I was surprised to see 7 small archives there instead of just 1. I then went on to make an image backup of the system. I booted again to Windows and checked if ATI will detect my drives. I got the same error, "Acronis True Image Home has not found any hard disk drive". I now activated the F11 function of Acronis Startup Recovery manager and rebooted againto use it. Shocked, I booted to Windows and ran ATI, there wasn't any issue at all it detected all the drives I have(even the Seagate portable). "Acronis True Image Home has not found any hard disk drive"
The installation went fine and detected the Seagate portable in Windows. So I uninstalled AT Home 2011 using the installer(Remove) and then using the Acronis Removal Tool. It would read the internal hdd drives I had but not the Seagate portable. It went well but I encountered an issue with the detection of USB devices specifically a Seagate Portable expansion drive that Acronis True Image Home 2011 would not read using the Linux cd.
Will someone help me please.I just rebuilt an old system for I was affected by the recent typhoon that hit our area.
